Chris Huey

I am the kind of person who shows up as the best version of himself — rooted in faith, anchored in family, and driven by the daily courage to close the gap between who I am today and who I am called to be. Not perfectly, but faithfully. Understanding that who I become in the process is the greatest gift I can offer to God, my family, and the world around me.

To lead with the heart of a servant and the resolve of a steward — forging myself daily through discipline, presence, and gratitude so that the legacy I leave is a true reflection of the battles won within. A legacy not measured by position or wealth, but by the depth of influence on the people entrusted to my care — one that echoes through generations, that my children’s children will point to and say, “He chose what mattered most.”

Faith Over Fear Courage is not the absence of fear — it is moving forward in faith despite it. Every day is a decision to trust God’s design over my own comfort. The call is not to certainty, but to obedience.

Family as Foundation The most important title I will ever hold is not a professional one. A generationally healthy family — spiritually, physically, and emotionally — is my most enduring work and my most sacred responsibility.“Train up a child in the way he should go.” — Proverbs 22:6

Character is the Ceiling Integrity is not what I do when others are watching — it is who I am when no one is. Talent may open doors, but character determines how long you stay. “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” — Luke 16:10

Areté — Bring My Best to This Moment Growth is not a destination — it is the expression of excellence right now, in this moment, in this circumstance. I am not asking “am I getting better over time?” I am asking “am I bringing my best to THIS moment?” Every obstacle, setback, and hard season is not a detour from the journey — it is the journey. What doesn’t break me forges me. (Romans 5:3-4 | Nassim Taleb — Antifragility | Brian Johnson — Heroic)

Energy is the Foundation of Everything I cannot lead my family, serve my community, or do my best work from a depleted state. Sleep, movement, and nutrition are not luxuries — they are the physical foundation on which every other value is built. Honoring my body is an act of stewardship and a prerequisite to living all of these values fully. “Do you not know that your body is a temple?” — 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Servant Leadership True greatness is not found in being served, but in serving. Influence — not authority — is the currency of lasting leadership. I lead my family, my team, and my community from the front by kneeling first.(Matthew 20:26)

Stewardship Over Ownership Everything I have has been entrusted to me — not given to me. Tithe thoughtfully. Save with discipline. Invest with wisdom. Give generously. Wealth is a tool, not an identity. How I manage what I’ve been given reflects what I truly believe.

Lifelong Learning — Iron Sharpens Iron Every day I am either growing or declining — there is no standing still. I commit to being a learner who invests in his mind, his craft, and his relationships with the same intensity he brings to everything else. (Proverbs 27:17)

Community as Calling “What is not good for the hive is not good for the bee.” — Marcus Aurelius. My flourishing is inseparable from the flourishing of those around me. Showing up for my community is not charity — it is duty.
